About Organic Coffee
Organic coffee aims at yielding coffee the way nature intended. It generally means that the beans are free from processes, insecticides, and chemicals used to promote larger yields and profits that ultimately exploit and harm the earth in doing so. We believe your purchase isn’t only healthier but also helps the earth and caretakers of it, like the farmers committed to preserving and enhancing the ecosystems in which these organic coffees thrive.

We’d love all coffees to be organic, but that’s not happening anytime soon. At the time of this writing, less than 5% percentage of the world’s coffee is organic, and only a tiny percent of that organic coffee is premium/specialty-grade Arabica coffee. Robusta, for example, Arabica's inferior cousin is also available in organic form from many cultivators and distributors. The point is that there is inferior organic coffee out there as well, however, high quality organic choices are still very limited. As a result, we don’t claim to offer the best coffee in the world because the best coffees in the world generally don’t have organic counterparts. However, in the world of organic coffee, we do offer the best we can get our hands on. Though our pickings are slim, when we find a great-tasting organic coffee, we’ll offer it. We hope to expand the choices offered as we grow.
