Coffee was first introduced to the Veracruz region from Cuba in 1790. The Soconusco region of Chiapas is known for being the most productive region of Mexico when it comes to cultivating coffee—this is helped by the natural forest canopy that is prevalent throughout the region, providing natural shade for the coffee trees. The mountainous highlands of Chiapas provide an ideal climate in terms of temperature and humidity for the cultivation of arabica. The region shares a border with Guatemala to the west, and Oaxaca to the east, the other important coffee growing region in Mexico.

Please understand that while the shipping choice you select will give an approximate delivery time, your order still needs to be roasted first, rested, then packed and shipped. For example, if you choose USPS Priority flat rate and it takes 3 days for delivery, you will need to add at least 4 days to this so it will take about 7 business days for you to receive your coffee from the time of order.
